About The Festival

The BECOMING festival has come out of the desire to make Native American filmmaking mainstream. The theme for the week will be coming-of-age from Native American heritage with a specific focus on boyhood. 
Each of the five films we will be showing follow this theme in one respect or another and aim to help audience members to see contemporary Native American boyhood from new perspectives.
